This week CCL students took part in Occupational First Aid Training. This three-day course was directed at equipping the students with lifesaving skills in the areas of CPR and the use of the AED (Defibrillator Device). The course was facilitated through a variety of techniques such as theoretical lectures, hands on practical demonstrations and discussions direct the students learning. On completion of this course students receive a two year Level 5 Certificate in Occupational First Aid.
